What is the QR on my image for?

The QR code that is placed on the notarization or NFT created with AuthenPiQ contains the link to the shot ID:

  • the image (photo or video),
  • the title and description,
  • the date, time, geolocation (if set)
  • the transaction hash – the unique code identifying the notarization or NFT
  • In the case of NFT: the direct link to OpenSea and the possibility to transfer it to one’s wallet
  • The QR code (or its link) can be shared with anyone, even those who are not AuthenPiQ users.

What is the legal value of blockchain?

Both Italian law and the European Union guarantee the legal value of blockchain’s technological neutrality.

Blockchain is trustless by nature, which means that it does not need third parties to certify the authenticity of the recorded data.

An NFT (Non-Fungible Token) is a unique digital object representing ownership of a digital object, notarized on blockchain and is public. An NFT can be bought, sold, or traded on marketplaces, such as OpenSea.

Where are my notarizations and NFTs saved?

Your notarizations and NFTs created with AuthenPiQ are saved on Google servers based in the EU and thus benefit from EU privacy and security regulations and rules. In case of business adjustments, this may be varied.
